Looking at using Vista 64 as OS

I have a considerable dislike for Vista as an OS. If you don't mind the risk and can find someone who has a copy of the ISO / would be willing to post you a burned DVD Windows 7 beta is a good OS and will currently last you until August, by which time the retail versions should be out. There are, however, a few things that don't work with it (TAGES copy-protection, for one), and it might not be worth the hassle for you. On the other hand, if you buy Vista now you'd be looking at shelling out *again* for an upgrade to 7 (I suspect sooner rather than later, too)...

I seriously doubt the retail version of Windows 7 will be retail until nearer the end of the year.

There will be several beta release before it.

The Corsair PSU you have chosen is VERY POOR value for money.
Its almost £30 more expensive than it was 4 months ago and not a £100+ PSU.
