Help Silencing HTPC

Hello, I recently built a HTPC, and it is much too noisy for my liking, especially as it is in a bedroom. The parts list is as follows:

CPU- AMD 4850e
Cooler- Scythe Shuriken
HDD-Western Digital 6400AAKS
ODD-Song SATA
Case-Antec Micro Fusion
PSU-Included with case, Antec MT-350
Motherboard- Abit A-78SH
RAM-2GB Crucial
Case fans-2x80mm Tricool exhaust, 1x80mm Tricool intake

As far as I can tell, the source of most of this noise is the PSU, but I'm unsure how I would go about replacing this as the case is unsuitable for fitting standard ATX PSUs. Aside from this, how are these parts regarded in terms of noise, and how would I go about silencing my HTPC? Thanks in advance for any help given.

I have the same case and psu and find it very quiet... the noisiest thing in my case was the antec fan, even running at their lowest they were noisy... I decided to spend the dosh and replace them with the noctua fans... now my htpc is silent... almost lol...

80mm tri cools even at there lowest setting are :25 dBA

Ill post the stats of some alternatives :

Noctua NF-R8 80mm £13 each

- 12v performance - 1800RPM, 17dBA, 22CFM
- 7.5v performance - 1300RPM, 10dBA, 17.9CFM

Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 80mm Fan £6

1000RPM, 8.9 dB, 11.3 CFM

Akasa AK-190-SM Smoke Ultra Quiet 80mm Fan £4

1800 RPM, 20.0 dB, 25.4 CFM

Looking at your parts heat really wont be an issue so go for the Sharknoon's

First take the time to locate the biggest sources of noise.

As already mentioned source the noise first. Some other general tips for quiet running, your cpu, could it be run without a fan on the Scythe, you could undervolt the cpu thus requiring less cooling, you will need to tweak this for speed/use etc. Suspend the hard drive with elastic or similar, I find the hd is a great source on noise/vibrations. What about having 1 rear fan pulling

The major source of noise is the power supply, and the three case fans. The three case fans will be replaced, and are standard 80mm by 25mm fans, any recommendations?

The power supply however uses a 25mm by 15mm fan, which is proving very difficult to find a replacement for. As the main noise source, i would really like to replace it, but cant find a suitable replacement, any help?

I would personally not muck around with the PSU unless you can get a fan with a similiar output to the existing one otherwise it could cause the unit to overheat.
