ATMT DVB-T USB Receiver : doesnt receive anything

Hi guys,

I got an ATMT DVB-T USB TV tuner dongle with a Net Book from Scan at Christmas, as part of a Today Only Bundle, and apart from the fact that it wouldn't run on the Netbook itself (graphics card was incompatible ) I have installed it on a PC now, and while the software runs ok, I can't get anything.

I've pulled the Aerial out to it's max, and magnetized it to a metal table leg (the instructions said to put it horizonatally on a metal surface) but I cant get a single channel.

At all.

Seems a bit of a waste of a dongle really....... any one else got one, and get anything at all?

I get Free View quite well here at home, so not sure why it's failed to find a sinlge thing.

can you connect the house tv aerial to it?
i found that the internal aerials that get included are usaully pretty bad. once hooked up to my main house one, everything was peachy

Its the SISO system (sh1t in, sh1t out), like he^ said, try connecting the tv aerial too it, the mini aerials arent the best for dvb-t
