Have you considered ebay? Since its only a budget machine anyway.

For budget cases and Processors you don't get many deals.

But for PSU, motherboards and GPU you can get some deals on the Auctions, also on smaller capacity HDDs

eBay is quite good for components, albeit a bit more risky than buying new.

Yep that's what I meant by a 2nd hand 8800gt or 3870, if you pick up one for around £50 then you'll have a better card than a 8800gs/9600gso
CPU wise a cheap e6600 would be good too
fleabay is great for 17"-19" monitors they can be picked up very cheaply, not so for 20"+

My one word of warning is don't buy the very latest kit from fleabay, people bid silly amounts often pushing it up over retail price.
Slightly older kit can often be the sweet spot as people flog it off to buy the latest dohicky and often it's not really needed.

Yeah, a month or so ago I spotted a lovely Gigabyte G33 and an ASUS G43 board that both sold for around £36-37 incl. postage. if you go for a G31/P31 £25-30 is do-able.

It can be more of a risk, but for a budget system its definitely worth a punt
