    Fantastic post Austin, I couldn't agree more either, the pc joypad scene is rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishe, these add some of the best joypads ever made into the pc controller, of course your never going to top a mouse and keys setup in fps games....which as it so happens the pc is best at....

    i used to have a ps1 converter for the pc but it wasnt much kop tbh so i got rid

    i have a ps1/ps2 pad to xbox converter its pretty good works quite well also does steering wheel and my mates cant keep saying if i had a playstation pad i would wup ya....

    You can now run Linux on the XBox... and Q3 runs on Linux. So in theory this should be possible. Although I doubt that appropriate drivers for the gfx card would be available for 3D acceleration.

    The XBox has a P3 700mhz but a very fast nVidia gfx card (at a guess probably around a mid-ranged GF4).

    Its a celeron based on the P3 mate.......

    The Linux thing was broken last year... there is also a red hat dist that works on the PS2, but unlike the Xbox, sony back it

    Oh and it's a tweaked GF3 btw, a 4200 would probably crap all over it, not to mention an fx/radeon 95/6/7/800 class gpu

    go to play.com only 7quid for PS converter, and supports all features apart from analogue buttons on PS2 (by that I dont mean the analogue sticks).

    free delivery too

    he means it doesn't support analogue buttons, the sticks n dual shock still work afaik

    got one of these convertors a while back, so much better with the planes on battlefield now (still crap, but better, lol).
