    Foxconn Motherboards

I looked at Foxconn's website for information and could not find any info on there at all regarding their Motherboards.

I was wondering why this is? Anyone using a Foxconn motherboard or know anything about them? I've seen them for sale before but, always thought of them as an unknown.

    Re: Foxconn Motherboards

When I originally Googled I just got reviews for Foxconn boards!

Now I have to decide if I continue waiting for the J&W Extreme or have the Foxconn 790GX board instead.

Hmm, what CPU are you going for?

Both boards have exactly the same chipsets. So as far as the CPU is concerned it should make no difference.

The J&W is reported as being an extreme overclocking board.

I have had a J&W on order for about 6 weeks now and I'm getting impatient but, I'm not sure the Foxconn is as good.

Well, I still have not decided on the CPU after 6 weeks of thinking about it. Was thinking of the 940 but, now thinking of the 720.

I think I will probably buy the 720 because it is AM3 so it will have some future use or re sale value.

I should be able to clock it if I feel the need.
