Is there a newer review of Raptors in RAID-0 than the old one on Anandtech?
Thinking of sticking both my 80Gb raptors in R-0 with w7 but cant find any newish reviews..

I've been using 2 74Gb Raptors in RAID 0 for 4or5 years now. I get about 120Mb/s.
Yeha but what do you get from a single Raptor and how does that stack up with Vista/w7 performance...?

I can't say about Vista or Windows 7 as I'm still using XP. Not sure why there is so much difference between the burst rate ?
Cheers guys, think what I'm gonna do tho is just take out my existing raptor with XP on it and stick my spare in and stick w7 on that over the weekend, next step I think will be an SSD ~64Gb, the drive only has the OS/apps on it, games, swap, temp are on seperate drives so thats a lot of wasted space with 2xraptors in there just for that and not a huge performance increase..

2.5" Fujitsu 15K 74GB Drive I just got for fun. For reference only.
Personally I think HDTune/HDTach plots are useless, doesn't reflect real-life performance.
I could use the PERC card from our server and a few of the drives but the users might notice
