Ive just bought a tube of this. It should arrive tomorrow. dunno if itll be any good, but it should be. Note that its 25ml - thats about 10x more than in a normal syringe of AS3 and since ceramic and AS5 you get less per syringe so this is definatly worth it. The main reson I got this is because I will be heatsinking a LOT of chips (about 50 chips each have 20mm*10mm surface area) which dont really output a lot of heat. Also I dont intend to spend 10 mins spreading it on one chip like as needed by AS ceramique so its good this isnt conductive or capacitive (ceramique isnt but AS3 / 5 is)

Think it’s just more of a matter of people engaging their brains before typing!

Just out of politeness..... and not really wanting to contribute to the terribleness of this thread.... (who me?)

Yes, that stuff will do the job, no, it won't damage your heatsink or CPU.

BUT - as I mentioned quite early on in this thread - AS5; AS3 and most of the other 'quality' compounds will give you an improvement in temps if applied properly.

    My last word.

Won't be more than a degree or two tops from using AS3
