System rebooting when plugging in USB devices

    Hi

I'm trying to fix my girlfriends pc. Every time a usb device is plugged in, the system reboots. Any ideas how I can fix this? I've got a suspicion that the usb ports are shorting out somewhere. Weirdly though, I've got a usb mouse plugged in and it works fine.

    Thanks

    tez
