    i have an irq question
im using win98se micro and have 6 devices on irq 11
    http://www.litepc.com/98micro.html

3 i think i remember raid agp pci ide

i also have this temp question
im using alumina paste with spark 7+ at full speed
my temp from cold room cold boot is 42 ?
after 2 hours in photoshop its 50-52?
    is that o.k.

    should i
    leave well enough alone ?

the boards bios allows for manual assignment
    ?
i wonder if temp sensor is screwy

50 - 52 is ok for a 3ghz p4, my 2.53 clocked to 3ghz sits at 51c full load but I have the mcx 4000 swiftech sink with a 80mm delta screamer on there. It's ok to have the IRQ's being shared if you arent suffering problems with hardware. If you have conflicts between hardware then use the manual assignment for them.

to be honest i would give win98 the burial it deserves and atleast shift across to win2k. win98 is getting long in the tooth and the drivers available for it are more and more becomming scarce to find. Obvioulsy not knowing your full system you may have hardware that will run in win98 and the support wasn't carried across to the newer OS's. If that is not the case try a newer OS as 2k and XP have a slightly better IRQ management system
