    Samsung EcoGreen F2

Has tried one of those yet? I can't seem to find any reviews even though it's already on sale (Scan has it competitively priced to the Caviar Green). I am wondering which one would be better for an HTPC + quiet gaming build (even though I expect to two to be very similar).

    Re: Samsung EcoGreen F2

I would be equally curious to find out how it compares to the F1s performance, since that is already an exceptionally quiet drive but despite that maintains excellent performance. If anyone knows anything that would be great.

    Thanks

    Re: Samsung EcoGreen F2

I would expect it to be slower in most instances given the lower spindle speed despite the higher density (much like the 2TB Caviar Green is slower overall compared to, say the Caviar Blue/Black). But I am curious as to whether the F2 can compete with the Caviar Green noise wise. The F1 is quiet, but the Caviar Green is even more quiet, which will be great for an HTPC. I would also like not having to worry about this issue: http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums...1309f64f7ba518
