New S775 Motherboard?

I've got extremely fed up of my RMA tennis games with Scan, and am contemplating just buying a replacement board rather than going through the whole thing again. If I can remember rightly Scan were offering to give me in the region of £50 for my old P35-DQ6, but instead I held out for a replacement, which I have now received, except it doesn't work either.

If we're talking about value for money, then which boards do you think I should be looking at as possible replacements for my P35-DQ6? Basically I need 4 SATA ports, good overclocking potential for the Q9550, room for the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme, and I think that's about it. I won't be getting SLI any time soon, so that doesn't really bother me. I suspect I probably didn't need a board as good as the DQ6 in the first place, but I don't want to cripple my system with a poor one.

Or would I be better off just holding out for another replacement board?

I've had a poke about the Gigabyte pages and it doesn't seem like there really is a whole lot of physical difference between the boards.

Assuming then that it's pretty much just a question of overclocking, what's the best value board I can get?

I've had problems with Gigabyte boards in the past too. The one I had to RMA most recently was the DS4. I don't tend to go near them anymore but have gone for Asus boards they are solid and never had one fail. I have one of these in one of my systems:
