Question IDE to SATA Adaptor? Will this do the Trick?

    Alright Peeps,

I am doing a repair on a mates PC and he has an IDE HDD and the new mainboard he has only has 1 IDE slot on the mainboard which are going to be used by 2 DVD Drives.
The board does have 4 SATA ports on it so was wondering if this would do the trick?

    http://www.sourcingmap.com/ata-10013...l?currency=GBP

Will this allow me to run his IDE HDD through the SATA port?
Also adaptor needs to be powered by 12v molex as floppy power cable already in use.

    Cheers

No, the second one is right. The first one is the other way around, sata -> ide. It is labeled incorrectly

Edit: I think they are both wrong. The first one (pictures) shows Sata -> IDE but is described as being IDE -> Sata.

The second one's description says it plugs into IDE port on the motherboard to change it into Sata port.

The second one is the correct picture, but the wrong description - same for the first - right description, wrong picture.

More expensive, but this will do it
