    Motherboard purchase help.

Ok I'm finally going to start my first build (well sort of found someone more experienced that can do it for me) but I can't decide on a couple of things.

Here are the parts I have already got:

    Case: Antec Sonata III

    PSU: EarthWatts 500 Watt

Memory: Kingston 8GB (4x2GB) DDR2 1066MHz/PC2-8500 HyperX Memory CL5 Unbuffered Non-ECC (CL5 5-5-5-15 - 2.2V) (waiting delivery within next 5 days worked out about £25 cheaper than similar spec from corsair and ocz)

    Hard Drives Samsung HD753LJ (750GB/7200rpm/32mb)
    Western Digital WD6400AAKS (640gb/7200rpm/16mb)

    Graphics Card PowerColor HD3850 512mb

Sound Card Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Platinum - Fatal1ty Champion Series with front panel

Blu Ray disk drive Pioneer Blu ray disc player dvd/cd writer BDC-S02BK

Now I'm 99.9% sure that I will go for AMD Phenom II X4 940 (around £188-£196) but now need to finalise my motherboard choice - I don't really want to spend a fortune ideally around the £100 but could spend less or I could go upto to £140 if really worth it.

Want pc to have the ability in the future to be overclockable but not at the moment.

Thinking of having a dual boot with ubuntu and win xp pro (£115) or should I just use ubuntu until windows 7 is released to keep cost down so I can actually get on with the build.
