Logitech MX500 if you like a cord, otherwise the MX700 :)
Oh I didn't know that. I though it was only three years and I can't find the receipt. Reckon they'll need it? Got any contact numbers?Quote:

The mx700 sounds like a great mouse. How long does the battery last in between charges?
btw thanks Agent!
Well I've just given MS a ring and being the honest guy I am told them the exact model I had. I was kinda tempted to tell them I had the Bluetooth model but I don't think I would have gotten away with it!
Anyway they're sending me a out a replacement within the week!
glad to hear that m8 :)
I've got Agent to thank for suggesting it. I wouldn't have rang them if it weren't for him.
Well, I tend to use it most of the day then stick it in it's charger when I go to bed, and it's never run out of juice. If you're really hardcore it lasts about 3 days of constant use before the little red light lets you know it needs more power, but obviously it'll last longer if you don't use it as much :)Quote:

Did they ask for your old mouse back?
Nope :). SO I'm hoping that mouse problems are a temporary glitchQuote:

I've discovered now that it wasn't actually my mouse at fault. It's a little bit more serious, I think it's the graphics card. I've heard that Gainward aren't great at RMAs
World's best gaming mouse is the Razor Boomslang 2100. Not optical though, so you will have to clean it now and again, to keep it at its best, if you're a mucky sod.
M$ are excellent with their RMA procedures tbh, any M$ hardware that his died on my has usually been replaced within a week, its the one thing they are good at ;)
FYI they are still doing this, i've just RMA'd my Intellimouse Explorer v4 as the left mouse button has died - number is 0870 6010100, option 2, option 5 :)
I had 2 microsoft mice die on me, now i got a razer diamondback << great mouse :D
For general use cant get better than the Logitech MX Revolution, had mine over 3 years and huge noticeable difference when I use and other mouse, very comfortable, lasts forever between charges and it just sits in its cradle when I'm away from computer...
Gaming wise, have a look at the Saitek Cyborg Mouse take a little getting use to, but I'd be lost without it now in games. Huge amount of customisation available...
what makes a mouse a great mouse? because i just use bog standard Dell mice optical and there is nothing i can fault with it...
