Question Any decent DVI KVM switches out there?

I've been searching around for a 2-port DVI kvm switch to replace the 2-port VGA device I'm currently using, but have found nowt all that meets my criteria. All I really need is device for around £20 that will support 1680*1050 and allow remote switching via the keyboard. A USB mouse would be useful but not essential.
My current VGA kvm will let me switch between systems using Scroll Lock+up arrow, so I can keep the switch under the desk where all the cables are out of my way. All the DVI kvm switches I've found only seem to offer manual switching on the device itself, which wouldn't be much good for my setup!

So does anyone know of any decent DVI switches that might do what I want? and what setup do those of you with DVI kvm's use?

    cheers!

Re: Any decent DVI KVM switches out there?

I have a Belkin Omniview Soho and know that they do a DVI version. Been really pleased with mine but you certainly won't get one for £20!

This however is under £20 and is a 2 port DVI-D KVM - just what you were looking for! Hmm, except it doesn't seem to do the Keyb & Mouse only Video and Audio. Sigh

Another crazy product is this. £42 which is OK but has no audio and PS/2 ports only. Seems very illogical - DVI is a modern interface whilst PS/2 has largely been replaced with USB.

I know the Belkin has DVI, Audio and USB but all this comes at a higher price.

Let me know what you end up going for.

Re: Any decent DVI KVM switches out there?

Hiyas thanks for the replies. I only recently bought a DVI monitor so I was rather surprised at the lack of choice regarding DVI kvm switches!

    I found this on scan:
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Aten-...tch-With-Audio

Not a bad device, but it's twice my budget and from the specs it doesnt allow you to switch systems using the keyboard.. seems to use some little button or something you place on the desk, which is strange as surely it would be easier to hardcode a keyboard combination!
