    Viewsonic VA2626wm

    hi all

    how u all been?

i asked for a 26 - 27 monitor from work and said it had to have DVI, HDMI connections but it must have 19*12 res.

they got me the mentioned monitor, till this point i never had a viewsonic and i have to say its complete dissapointment:

    - is the text on it suppose to be grainy. (not sharp at all with VGA or HDMI connection)

    - the colours are just useless.

    - i,m sure i can see the pixels every time my eyes glance on it.

    - there are different shade of white its gets all orange type at the top corner.

overall PQ is awful in everyway so as the build quality.

anyway is it me have i forogt to do something, i played around with settings and no improvement at all specially the text, i only got this ysterday and i have to say i dont wanna be cheeky and ask for another but i really cant stare at this fpr 8 hrs everyday. i did have the dell 27 and that was in league of it own compare to that.

can someone help me or advice me on this monitor.

Doing a quick google on the model number, it does seem to be coming up with fairly crappy reviews... Not much to be done about it except getting a better model.

The other thing to consider, 1920*1200 is a low-ish resolution for a 26" screen so you're going to get big, visible pixels.

    hey

thanks for getting back to me, it really is the worst monitor ive ever come across and i used so much i just didint think i'll come across something that bad.

i wish i could change the model but work provided it and would be cheeky or ungratefull if i asked for another model. i just wished they listened to my recommendations instead of forking out good money for crap.

I wouldn't worry about feeling cheeky, you asked for something to increase your productivity (presumably it wasn't just for e-peen ) and what they delivered wasn't up to the job. You might not get anything from complaining but at least they'll know there's a problem.

recieve a replacement and still no improvement in text and blue or red kind of haze in the left hand side of the screen.

    absolutly useless, keep away everyone
