    Akasa - Good CS

Don't usually read about good things happening on most forums, usually people just use them to vent so I thought I'd share a good experience.

Had an Akasa Evo 120 for a couple of years now, been great, used to cool my 3ghz prescott whilst still silent.
Been in a couple of systems since, no issues.
Went to put it in my server when I then discovered I didn't have the right fitting (AM2) so I must have bought the original, not the revision.
I emailed akasa, gave them my address on the off chance but still requested info on where to obtain the proper fittings, and they've posted me the fittings, free of charge.
Very happy, especially as it's a few years old now, don't think they even make them anymore, they could have easily fobbed me off.
So, thank you akasa UK, my evo lives on.

    Re: Akasa - Good CS

It's great that some companies still support older products rather than force you to buy their lastest product.

My main gripe with this is when they won't make drivers for perfectly good hardware to work with a later OS.

    Well done Akasa!
