    Unhappy Samsung NC10 Keyboard

I've just received an NC10 in Black. It looks great, but I noticed that for some reason the F7 and F8 keys are a very dark blue instead of black like the rest of the keyboard. Is there anyone here with the same laptop that can tell me if theirs is the same, or if there has been a manufacturing error with mine?

It's a small thing, but it spoils the look of it.

EDIT: It looks like they might be the EZ-BLU keys for the Samsung software, but I'm not sure

Yeah, it's not something that you would expect to happen, but I thought I might as well check since a couple of people on here have the same netbook.

A quick Google showed a lot of references to those keys on Samsung laptops, so it might be their way of highlighting them as 'extra special'.

    Re: Samsung NC10 Keyboard

Just to confirm - I've got the same two blue keys - I only just noticed when I had the reading lights on the plane shining on the keyboard. Mine was bought in the UK. I'm assuming its a feature.

I did think maybe it was a mistake, but what are the chances ...

I'm pretty sure now that it was deliberate. Thanks for confirming that mine wasn't the only one though It's much less noticable than I thought it was going to be at first.

    Re: Samsung NC10 Keyboard

I have ordered two from amazon and both came wit hthe infamous blue buttons, starting to thisnk this was deliberate.

I think it spoils the finish, not impressed, the white version does not have this issue!

    Looking at other notebooks now

    Re: Samsung NC10 Keyboard

Yeah they are blue although at first I failed to spot it and then when I actually decided to work in a light area instead of a dark room I noticed the keys were blue.

    Re: Samsung NC10 Keyboard

Hi, I too have just purchased a Samsung NC10 in black (complete with the two blue keys
Since I ran the Samsung update my keyboard seems to have gone into "num-lock madness" ! The keyboard is fixed on "num-lock" (o=6...p=*etc. )...I have no clue where the num-lock is situated on the keyboard of the NC10, so any help would be great, thanks.
Does anyone here know of a way to solve this issue ?
    Thanks in advance
    shaps...xxx
