You obviously haven't encountered real cheese yet, which if left unchecked starts walking off the table..

Tastes a little better once it has been cooked by an overclocked CPU.

lol i remember some site doing a similar thing a while back..testing all kinds of weird materials as thermal paste..peanut butter was actually one of them..conclusion was they're all about the same except for the smells.

Re: Thermal Paste Test (and cheese!)

I don't think this has been a fair test so far as cheese goes, is that yellow packed stuff even real cheese.. I think you would get far better thermal performance from a nice chunk of english mature chedder. Extra, extra mature or some smoked sheeps cheese... the polish stuff, that takes a lot of heat to melt as the fat content is so low.

I heard about someone using engineers grease as a thermal compound before, meant to be rather good and stays viscous at high heats.

Re: Thermal Paste Test (and cheese!)

Well, red sauce generally goes well with chips but I think in this case, any sause would be add as they contain vinegar (acetic acid) which would probably cause corrosion to both the heatsink and the CPU surface.

hmm seems to be a running 'food and drink' theme in cooling articals...pretty sure i once read an artical about using guinness for water cooling set-ups.....what would be the strangest food you could use?
