I know Nick tried to destroy one on Hexus TV a while back, but did he put his through a full wash and dry cycle?
That's what I've just done to mine - found it in a shirt pocket this morning. Still works like new (and it's shiny like new too)![]()

Nope, the entire USB head came off it. It had only been attached by solder. I suspect the ones Nick was playing around with weren't off the shelf. Certainly not the same shelf anyway.
Wasnt it a survivor, not a voyager?
They've done both as I remember.

It was fine for a couple of years or so, then without warning this happened when the cap was taken off. Still, it was an excuse to get a OCZ Rally2.
10 year warranty on the Voyager iirc, send it back get a new one![]()
It's in the bin now or I would have provided pics.
Still, it was only 2gb and we've got plenty of cheap spares that came with some laptops we bought last autumn.
Next door's dog ate the cap of mine. We kept an eye on the dog - well, its crap - but no luck (not sure I'd want it back anyway!).

Speaking of which I remember my friend swallowed a flash drive cap. Don't know if he ever found it.
