    Worth upgrading HSF?

    ME again!

at the mo, I am using my old SLK 800 with a generic 80mm sunon fan. As I've just got an XPM 2500 and plan to clock it to 3200+ or more speed, will this HSF be alright? Or should I consider the TT Silent Boost 3400?

Bit short of dough, so I'd rather not change if I can help it, unless the SLK will hamper my oc efforts. Any other HSF suggestions will be welcome too!!!

That's HSF is perfectly fine. I've got one of those running a 2600+ at 3200+ speeds. If you've got an XP-M then it'll be cooler will it not? A lot less volts running through it so there's no point in getting a better HSF. Also, what would you upgrade to? SLK-900? Minimal difference imo.

    Yeah,

thats what i thought too. Its just that I havent really researched hsfs since i had the 'get temps as low as possible no matter the cost' bug, and thought the 800 would be getting low in the tooth by now. Well, saves be a bit of cash then!

the slk is perfectly good enough and definitely better than the thermaltake, thermalright are top notch, the new top thermalright hs/f's are the sp-97 heatpipe and the brand new slk948-u if you do fancy an upgrade
