Overclocked Speed not displaying correctly

I usually have my E5300 at 3.66Ghz with a x13 multiplier but it fails Orthos after a few hours. So I tried using a higher FSB but lower multiplier to see if it'd like it. However when I overclocked it oddly enough in Orthos and Rainmeter it displays the CPU speed as 3.96Ghz...

Is there a problem with my motherboard? :/ My P35 Neo-F is up to date with bios updates too. Weird how Orthos and Rainmeter thinks it's 305*13 (3.95Ghz) when it's actually 305*12 (3.66Ghz)

nope it's normal some programs just get confused when you change the multiplier. Cpuz will always be correct though so trust that and ignore the others

Ah ok, I just thought there was a bug or something.

And what are the advantages of IBT compared to Orthos/OCCT/Prime? Well Orthos and Prime are essentially the same. IBT seems a bit overkill to me. Personally I think Orthos stable is good enough for me.

IBT will push your CPU to the max heatwise - and will find failures much quicker and is much easier to test for a quck run of x20 tests rather than 24hr+ P95 run.
