About LinkBacksok just moved from a p4 to an amd shuttle now when i benchmark using a 9800 pro 2800 xp cpu and 512mb in my shuttle my score is like 15600 but when i had my p4 rig it was like 16800 how can this be?

What P4 did you have? And what FSB were you running it at? 3D Mark loves FSB.

my p4 was a 3ghz 800fsb chip just now i wanted something quick n quiet!
Well that's why the score is a little lower then. The CPU is not as powerfull as the one you were using before. I get just over 17000 with my 9800Pro and my 2.3 256kb AMD

It does love FSB though. My 2.4 @ 3.0 (1000FSB) with a 9700 Pro @ 400/700 scores 18000.
