    Games consoles on PC monitors?

Can you get anything that allows you to use a PS2 on a PC monitor? And does it give you any better res?

It's a VGA box, or TV-in if your GFX card (or TV tuner) has that. Resolution isn't any better, and due to the higher quality of monitors you don't get the natural blurring that a TV gives, so things will look more jagged.

I've tried it on my computer and the image looked like ass. A PS2 is designed to play on a low quality monitor (ie-TV) not something with a high res.

The only monitor your gonna be able to play the PS2 on is one of those LCD TV ones I'm afraid. They double as a TV and PC monitor, but highly expensive.

I use a cheap TV card in my PC and use that to display my XBox. SHould be able to do the same for a PS2. Make sure the TV card has an appropriate input (composite or SVGA). Quality is slightly compromised because the resuolution is stretched to a PC resolution, but it does the job.

There was a ps2 vga adaptor that apparently allowed for better resolutions in certain games, they had it for sale in game last Christmas..
Other than a tv->vga adaptor, you're looking at the tv-in of either a vivo gfx card, or a dedicated tv card.

I've had my PS2 playing through my TV card and vivo gfx card and the quality from both of them was a bit iffy to be honest. Still, it does the job tho.
