Haha, then silence is relative. Compared to a lot of PSUs out there the PCP&C Silencer PSUs are very noisy.

Be warned - once you get started making your computer quieter, it will never be quiet enough.

    Just a quick correction
That's not the smallest, we use 100mm deep ATX psu's at work however they are 80mm fan based psu's not 120mm fan based psu's.
That is probably the smallest ATX with 120mm fan.

Looking at the review http://www.silentpcreview.com/article922-page1.html it looks a bit of an odd beasty
Quiet, yes, but some odd numbers there, 4x 12v rails at 20a each with a total max of 396w ???
I'm a bit disappointed they didn't seem to dig into that, personally I'd guess that it's group regulated and the 4 rails are probably just 4 cross connected soldier points on the pcb (which is quite common)
While the numbers do seem a bit fuzzy and they didn't push the 12v load, I would say it still looks very good and should be fine for most systems.

    Re: Silence is bliss...

Well yeah, it's the smallest 120mm fan unit possible, as the thickness of the metal casing + the size of a 120mm fan = how long it is! For silence, a 120mm fan is very preferable. 80mm fans can potentially be even quieter than 120s, but to be effective at cooling anything, they need to be noisier.
The 4 rails thing confused me, I think it's a bit of marketing crap to make the PSU sound more powerful than it is. It's essentially a 33A 12V rail PSU. I've never had any problems with the rails on a PSU, and to be honest, the PC this PSU is going in is not going to be drawing 20A off the 12V rail at any point, I'd expect 13A at the most.
