Swapped over some components, fired up one pc running a 3800x2 skt939, left it on for a wee while, came back and it was off? Power LED was flashing, and it wouldn't boot up. LED would not go off until I physically unplugged the PSU.
So opened up the case and the 3 pin system fan plug is staring right at me, not plugged in. Heatsink is quite hot as you'd imagine...Any chance of the cpu surviving? Does the flashing LED indicate it shut down automatically to prevent any CPU damage, or does it mean the cpu was fried and the pc just shut down?
