AMD Athlon "Mobile" XP2800-M Barton 266FSB thinking of getting this cpu now i have a few questions!

do these performe the same as standard xp cpu's?

are these cooler in temp?

and how goos are these at overclocking?

and can they be used in a shuttle sn45g?

i think only the mobile xp2500's run @1.45v,as far as i know the rest are all 1.65v

but the xp2500 is the best as its the cheapest, most popular, and no matter what speed rating all clock to similar speeds in the end

Afaik, there are 3 levels DTR (desktop replacement) 1.65V, Mainstream 1.45V & Low Power 1.35V.
The AXP-M 2600+/2500+/2400+(Model 10) are available as both 72W DTR and 45W Mainstream, the AXP-M 2400+(model 10) is available in a 35W Standard/Low-power variant.

i've seen some 35w xp1400-m's on ebay in the states,the chips are about £25 but come to about £40 with delivery...who knows they might be the new 1700 dlt3c

dont think its worth it tbh, youd need some uber ran unless there unlocked, and 1.2 ghz, isnt honestly gonna get anywhere near 2.4 a xp2500m goes, that would be a 100% overclock, and thes only 256 cache, go for a xp2500m my friend, not much more
