Antec 300, 900 and 1200 are all great cases with masses of room and good build quality

900 2 has an ESATA port and top fan but I dont think it is worth the extra cost TBH. Would go for the 900 if its just between these two. The 900 2 does have slightly more room though

Burrellhead - welcome to Hexus, however this is the Welcome thread, and you will get a better response posting in one of the dedicated technical threads - in this instance, hardware.

This is also a topic that has been raised many times, so a search may help you - but that said, you are very welcome and I hope you find an answer to your question!

I'll arrange to have this thread moved for you.

    Re: good starter cases

Another vote for the Antec 300 here, I've used a few 300's it's very similar to my P182, good airflow and case temps.

    Coolermaster CM690.
I like my one but you could get better on your budget.

    Re: good starter cases

Having recently built my friends rig with a 900, I can you that cable management is pretty horrendous and if you get a long card graphics card you have to rearrange the drive cage etc.

I'd me more inclined to get the 900-2 version, sprayed black and has cable management holes.
