    XFX ATI Radeon HD 4850

    XFX ATI Radeon HD 4850 650Mhz 512MB DDR3 - Ideal for gaming?

Seen a couple of reviews on this although they were a while ago - anyone know if this is still a decent card for the cash? (priced now at £90)

Re: XFX ATI Radeon HD 4850

Good for gaming, and at that price very good value for money.

It's hard to claim that any card short of the top of the range if "ideal" for gaming, because there is something better available: and of course the next generation of cards is always "just a few months" away. But it's a very good buy now if you're planning on gaming at 1920x1200 or lower resolutions with a decent degree of image enhancement

It was recently on the Scan Today Only webpage for around £80. With a few more posts the OP will be eligible for free postage from Scan

Gaming requirements havent really moved on in the last 12 months, so its just as good as it was 10 months ago at release.
