mkv files and dual screen issues

basically when i am playing an .mkv file and have dual screen runnings, it works fine on my primary screen, however if i drag sm player (software im using to play mkv) to the other screen, the video is all black, ie, blank; but i can hear the audio.

Does anyone know what causes this, and how to resolve this if possible.

Closest I can find to suggestions but from the looks of it there's been no solution. Maybe try VLC Player?
