WC pump problems

My problem is I have just changed my case, drained my loop and cleaned up all of it (which considering the DD maze gpu blocks anodisation had some how been damaged causeing a hell of a lot of corrosion on that block, was a nightmare) now the loop seems to be running fine and dandy, all bled no leaks etc.. however my pump is making the sort of noise I would expect it to make if there was air trapped in it, which obviously makes it much louder than it would otherwise be, no ammount of twisting, turning or shaking is making it stop so I was hoping someone here could suggest something, as I cannot live with the racket it is making, and for all I know it could be damaging itself.

air bubbles in the pump wont damage it, i tend to power off and power back up at various angles to help shift the large air locks.

after that its time thats needed for it to work out the system.

If you had corrosion in the loop, you may have a bit of debris in the pump that is causing the problem. Draining and flushing the pup through may help. (But that is just a general observation, I have no direct experience of water cooled computer systems)

If you have been running the system with a lot of air in it it can dissolve into the cooling fluid. If this happens you don't have a few large air bubbles but millions of very small ones. This can be seen as a froth in the reservoir. If you do, shut the system down a let it stand for 8 hours, so the air will dissipate out of the coolant and turn back into air bubbles. You can then remove these by pulsing the pump (off/on).

I allready cleaned out the pump previous to putting it back together, I suspect it may be small air bubbles tbh, as I got a small ish air bubble out of the pump after letting it sit over night, but I still have the annoying sound, I suspect I will just need to let it rest a bit longer and move it round more.

Edit: Found my problem, I clamped off my hoses and took the pump apart, and found that a small washer that lives under the impeller wasn't on it's shaft, I was pretty lucky that this got caught under the impeller really as it could have blocked up something in my loop further along if it had been on the top, still poping it where it bleongs was a quick and simple job and now my pump is fine (actualy it has knocked a couple of C off my idle temps, so I assume it was slowing the pump a bit, I did notice my new 120x2 rad must be self bleeding as all the bubbles that entered it just flowed through and right into the res, and no ammount of twisting it could coax and more out of it, which is a nice bonus)
