I have the Xigmatek and can vouch for it. The Titan just won best CPU cooler in CustomPC magazine (although the large round up did not include the xigmatek!?!). Either way both are an excellent choice and probably in the top 5 CPU coolers you can buy.

Honestly I think you would be splitting hairs at this point. I'm actually changing my mind and thinking the titan is worth a punt, but both are going to be so similar it wont matter which you buy.

As is often the case, different reviews will say different things. I've only looked at one review of the Xigmatek here: http://www.silentpcreview.com/article818-page5.html and it looks to be pretty competitive with the TRUE.

Bit-Tech gave a favourable view of the Titan: http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/coo...z-cou-cooler/4 and on high setting it's said to beat the TRUE.

This is reversed on this rather basic review: http://www.insidehw.com/Reviews/Cool...ir/Page-2.html where the TRUE give a better result both at high and low RPM.

http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/179...er/index6.html Finally, tweaktown shows the Fenrir beat behind the TRUE but ahead of the Zigmatek.

This lead me to think that as others have said, they probably all perform quite similarly. I will also add that a difference of 1-2 degrees could be within margin of error (e.g. depending on how well you apply the thermal paste etc.).

Ya I found it really annoying how one review site would remove the manufacturers fan and then add their "standard" one before benchmarking, another site would use different reference fans for each HSF which didn't include one as standard, and then some of the big name websites (imho) like thg and anandtech don't even have the latest (Titan) or greatest (TRUE?) bits of kit tested.

Ive decided to order the Xigmatek solely on its mounting hardware.

The Titan and TRUE require a backplate, whereas the Xigmatek uses the Intel push-pins and AMD swing arm clip.
