    helping fitting ZALMAN CNPS9700 to Gigabyte M750SLI-DS4 board

    hi there
    iim trying to fit a ZALMAN CNPS9700 to my Gigabyte M750SLI-DS4 motherboard using the am2 brackets and it doesnt seem to fit the board(what i mean is the holes dont line up with bracket to mount cooler and motherboard) what am i doing wrong help please?

    Are you saying the clip doesn't fit the bracket already mounted on the motherboard? Or are you saying you're trying to mount the bracket that comes with the cooler, because AFAIK that bracket is for socket 775 motherboards!

    i was tryin to put the black bracket that comes with it on the motherboard but it doesnt line up with the holes on the board , the black bracket that comes with the cooler that goes under motherboard and on top of the cpu the holes dont line up

    Yep the bracket is a S775 fitting only.

    You only need the metal clips for AMD fitting

    ok so i just mount it with the metal clips in the box then , any idea where i can get a am2 cpu bracket from , i changed my one for another cooler and cant locate it

    I'd start by dropping an email to Gigabyte's customer support and see if they can supply you with one.
