Oh yeah, I forgot about the one Hyper I had, it was around 300-400W, can't recollect, it blew taking out the motherboard and CPU, ouch, I remember thinking what the heck? It has been the only (touch wood) PSU to do that to me.

Had 2 Enermaxes. 2 Failures. Perhaps I'm unlucky, or perhaps they don't cope with 24/7 usage so well. No such problems with Seasonics.
Just bought Custom PC Mag, issue 073 - The Corsair HX850 Gets hightly recommended 'Custom Pc Premium Grade' Stats as follow;
Stability - 100%
Features - 80%
Value - 80%
Overall - 90%
I wouldn't pay much attention to CustomPC's PSU reviews - they don't test ripple for a start. The only two sites I know of that properly test PSUs are JonnyGuru and HardwareSecrets. HWS reviewed the HX750 while JG reviewed the HX850, both of which received great reviews.
true watercooled. I would'nt take a mag review as law, i always look around for other reviews that way i have a selection of reviews to compare or ask around be it friends, forum members etc at the end of the day the decision is yours & yours alone, with all the evidance you need to justify the purchase based upon facts that you learn rather than reviews you have read. At least with places like Hexus.forum you have cool tecky's who are intrested in the same things you are and have bought & tested such products.
The HX series were based on a Seasonic but then built to a budget,
Best brand is PC Power and Cooling by far/
Actually half are made by SeaSonic, half by CWT:
HX450 = Seasonic
HX520 = Seasonic
HX620 = Seasonic
HX750 = CWT
HX850 = CWT
HX1000 = CWT
And as previously mentioned by Blitzen 'PC P&C used to be a High End brand, but they simply cannot be considered high end now they are OCZ.' - they are not 'by far the best brand'. And I'd be surprised to read of any PSU that isn't built to a budget. Corsair's aren't cheap you know and they are VERY good PSUs.

Debatable seeing as though they are now wholly owned by OCZ, which makes them no longer the best option...Best brand is PC Power and Cooling by far/
Zippy are good, if you can find one in this country...
Or i'll just stick with Enermax/Seasonic Corsairs...
edit: beaten by Watercooled, who said exactly the same
I've known Zippy to be very popular in the States, I understand why now but I've not seen many in the UK. On second thoughts, I thought that Etasis were another brand highly regarded.
Didn't know that the CX400W was built by Seasonic, now that is very good to hear, as I've been asked to look for a new PSU - the 2 being the Corsair CX400W and Enermax Eco80+ 350W, am undecided ATM for a sibling on which to choose leaving aside the wattage difference.
Yeah Etasis are very good - they make some Silverstone units, including the fanless Nightjar.
