i have an abit nf7-s v2 mobo, i want to put 2x256mb of corsia value sellect memory with it , is this good or bad? also would i be better off to get a amd 2500+ chip or a amd 2800+chip? i want to try and overclock the chip

Get an unlocked 2500+ if you can, and corsair value select isnt the best, look at some twinmos twister low latency stuff.
i think u should avoid the value memory if uve went and bought a really gd motherboard. Like Mozzer said, twinmos or the best you can afford.

No not mobile. It's pot luck with those afaik.
Check the for sale forum or post a wanted thread. Just try and get a good unlocked CPU from someone. I have an unlocked 1700+ which overclocks to 3200+ fine.
If you can get a 1.4v Mobile fom a shop i'd say go for it - well worth it tbh
