    Laptop PATA SSDs?

    Hi,
Do these exist? I've got an ageing Toshiba laptop. It's not used for anything super high end, but the disk is on the way out. It has a standard 2.5" PATA connector. A 32/64GB drive would be fine for this laptop, but I can only seem to find SATA SSDs. Do standard (ie not netbook) PATA SSD drives exist?

    Cheers....

I realise it's just the first link that appeared, but some of Transcend's drives have got some really terrible reviews from customers regarding very poor performance. Just thought I'd mention in case you clicked the link and bought

    Re: Laptop PATA SSDs?

I checked MemoryC.com - that's where I got the RunCore for my Dell Mini 9. I've not heard great things about Transcend drives though.

Ideally I was looking for something along the lines of an OCZ drive. It doesn't have to be massivly performant, just better than a standard 2.5" PATA drive.
