What about the GTX 260 in place of the HD 4870. I was looking at the XFX GTX 260 Standard at Scan.
Similar performance and great noise/heat from the 260 BUT, XFX aren't the best name around here and they certainly wouldn't get any of my money.

Would the Corsair 450w HX Power supply run a GTX 260 or should i go for somthing a bit more beefier?
I was looking at moving up to the Corsair 550W VX for £10 more but im open to any other suggestions.

Leaning for the GTX 260 with the Corsair 550W VX power supply. Any thoughts?
I would probably go for the HD4870 1gb although both cards will do the job well TBH.
