    Apart from 1GB file test I did no other testing, not enough I know but I gave up on it, plus it needed to be powered from three USB ports.

    Have sold the drive

    Did you try transfer speeds via E-SATA?? I find that it is much quicker than USB2.

    No, I didn't. I didn't have a power adaptor (assuming I had to use one of these rather than the three USB ports to power it).

    Now have a WD 320 Blue so God Willing will try that out.
