    Ddr2 v ddr3

Is there much of a benefit between ddr2 and ddr3? If building a new system is it worth going the ddr3 route as opposed to getting ddr2 ram etc?

Depends what system.... DDR3 is faster but obviously cost more. So you have to factor in how much you want to spend.

Good question. Just wanted to see if ddr3 is worth the extra £90 as that is how much more it would cost me compared to a ddr2 system with similar specs. I quite like the Intel systems but a bit pricey for me!
