I use the Nforce 3.13 Unified drivers you can get them from here.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_udp_winxp_3.13
Try installing them in safe-mode
Also when the drivers say would you like to install the SW IDE driver say 'NO' as they are more trouble than they are worth.
Depends on your hardware config.Quote:

The SW driver, after the 2.03 release seems to be fine. There have only been a few reports of it causing any problems.
So try it, then *if* you have problems, remove it. Its a 2 second job :)
O.K. i should have said if you have problems then dont install the SW IDE drivers, they dont work well with my Epox 8RDA+ sadly :(
And as Agent says it not to hard to remove the SW IDE driver if it does not work properly (takes a little longer than 2 secs though)
What i do is if the IDE driver does not work then i re run the 3.13 driver install but when it comes to do you want to install the SW IDE driver just say 'NO' and it will overwrite it with the Microsoft IDE driver instead.
ok downloaded them, no sound
i gots a problem ? :(
don't know about an ERDA, which board exactly?
sorry 8RDA+, typo
Well that has the MCP-T so the nVidia UDP are the ones :confused:Quote:

standard game port
uni modem half duplex audio device

I've checked your list against mine and the difference between yours and mine is
I have only one 'Media control devices' not two
I dont have 'Standard game port' but might be because i use USB for my joystick and i turn it off in the BIOS.
I dont have 'Uni modem half duplex audio device' but i think thats because i dont have a 56K modem :)
But what you have missing is as follows :(
NVIDIA(R) Nforce(TM) Audio codec Interface
NVIDIA(R) Nforce(TM) MCP Audio Processing unit (Dolby(R) Digital)
Try removing one (or both) of the 'Media control devices' and giving the PC a restart
if that doesn't work try updating the Media control devices drivers by pointing them to the Nforce Audio drivers folder (You have to uncompress the 3.13 driver to a folder first though).
Also check your BIOS and make sure the audio drivers are not turned off in there.
If this doesn't work then try removing the Nforce drivers and re-installing them again, if all else fails your going to have to re-install a clean copy of windows and install the nforce drivers from there.
