can't believe how much the 4890 has crashed !
Are we all due some new gen or something?
otherwise think I maybe treating myself to one very soon.

Has it really crashed at £180+ ? In July the HD5870 should be out with 1200 shaders and possibly 512bit GDDR5

I bought a 512mb 4870 for that much just a little while back.
I hate the world of technology.
That price is only for XFX cards, I don't find them of good quality, proper makes like HIS and Sapphire cost more.
"In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship."
maybe, but OCUK do have a special agreement with XFX.
So you should get similar support.***EXCLUSIVE Premium Priority 2 Year Warranty***
In the unlikely event of your card failing within 2 Years, OcUK will replace your card with a brand new one, pending testing within our standard RMA/ testing terms and conditions
TBH i don't see why they can't do this with any branded cards, why the end user is made to wait IMO is stupid.
I think they're coming down in price as people are starting to hold on before buying a Dirext X 11 card. Don't know much difference it will actualyl make though. Direct X 10 wasn't all that big of a deal from what I heard...
