HDMI to HDMi cable

Iv got a Studio 17 with HDMI out and id like to connect it to a HDTV. Would i use a HDMI male to male cable, or would i need a HDMI male to female cable?

Probably male to male. Why not just look at the ports?

Cant say ive ever seen a male to female HDMI cable, theyre all male to male.

The laptop would have an HDMI socket as would the TV.

The TV ill be using is at my grandparents and there isnt a HDTV at my girlfriend's. the one on my laptop is a HDMI female, but i couldnt remember if HDMI were male to female, or male to male!


Wanted to double check before i bought the cable!
