GFX + Quadro configuration under Vista 64
hello,
A friend is using (or at least attempting to do so) a GFX 260 card and a Quadro card in the same system under windows Vista 64 bit. However, using WDDM drivers, the Quadro card is disabled. This occurs only under Vista.
It seems very strange that MS would disable this kind of configuration under Vista, is there any way of getting around this without disabling any of the features of the cards?
Thanks!

From memory, aren't there two sets of drivers, one for their consumer cards and one for the Quadros?
How about using the Quadro pack to see if the GTX is picked up with them.

hello,
This was tried, but it does nothing. The problem remains unfortunately.

I'm not sure how this should work.
As Funkstar already pointed out, Geforce and Quadro are 2 seperate driver sets.
Geforce only supports Geforce, and Quadro only supports Quadro cards.
However, the Quadro FX 4800 is using the same chip as the GTX 260.
