Crashing problems?
Well I recently started playing a game called L4D again but I crash every now and then.
What's the problem? :/ I do have my E5200 OC'ed but it's stable as far as Intel Burn Test goes with 5 loops at 3.5Ghz which isn't too big of an OC. PSU shouldn't be the problem as I never had any.
The last crash I had L4D froze then after 10 seconds it went back to desktop and said there were problems with nv4 drivers or something.
Here's some information I have:
Graphics card: 8600GT
Driver Name: nv4_disp.dll
Driver Version: 6.14.0011.8206 (English)
DDI Version: 9 (or higher)
Driver Attributes: Final Retail
Driver Date/Size: 2/9/2009 14:18:00, 6185088 bytes
Also after I restarted it my pc booted up really slowly and the pc seemed to lag a bit but once it got running it seemed normal again.
Gonna go play L4D again and see what happens.

Re: Crashing problems?
My overclocked E5200 was causing problems recently (ever degrading video performance/disk access if left running for some time and failure to get past windows boot screen 4 out of 5 attempts). It also passed Intel Burn Test with no failures.
Increasing the northbridge voltage from 1.25v to 1.4v solved the above issues (you will probably have different values on your motherboard).

Re: Crashing problems?
Try updating your GFX card drivers? as it may be a simple driver conflict.

Re: Crashing problems?
I'll try increasing the voltage and see how it goes first. I haven't had any GFX card driver issues and mine aren't too outdated so I'll pass on that for now seeing how downloading new drivers always seems to screw up the resolution and stuff x.x

Re: Crashing problems?
nv4 is video related. u do need to uninstall the drivers then run driver sweeper from guru3d.com to clean out the leftovers.
and you may as well install the latest that got released this week as your using beta drivers with known issues.
as for intel burn test to be sure you need 20 loops using max ram option and follow it up with a few hours of prime95 as my OC failed on p95 after 20 intel burn tests.
