Well done buddy, looking good
All working well I trust
BTW Is that a 92mm fan?
(BBTW doesnt it take up alot of room!!!!!!!)
Yep it's a 92mm Noctua.
It's got a 3 pin connector, which is a shame as I'd of like to connect it to the 4 pin on the graphics card
Is working good, I've got the thermal adhesive now, I'm just partitioning up my hard drive as per the guide on this very forum and downloading drivers.
Got about 30 motherboard drivers / tools to install on my P5Q-E, LOL.
PS fan other way up so it's blowing onto the card not blowing down
What's the listed rpm of that fan?
1600 'without adaptor'
You sure it's the wrong way? :S Looks OK to me?
I've got the fan set to about 1000 rpm in Speedfan.
Doh, I'll take it apart again tonight,
My temps are awesome though...
Shouldn't it be blowing away from the card? Drawing the hot air out of the fins?
Cool, I'll check the airflow direction, thanks
Well its gone from screaming loud fan @ 98 degrees in L4D to utterly silent @ 57 degrees, amazing.
well worth the purchase then
wow that heatsink is big nice job
Yep, I'd recommend it to anyone, I reckon you pull a fearsome overclock off with it on.
That Noctua fan is whisper quite as well at 1800rpm.
I thought it was amazingly loud, but I accidentally set the bottom PSU TriCool fan to Max whilst playing about with it, LOL!
