CALLING ALL ASUS MAXIMUS EXTREME USERS! (please)

    hi people.

i recently obtained a brand new maximus extreme @ a price 2 good 2 pass up. ive heard this board is VERY fussy about the ram used in it, especialy with all 4 slots filled.

so if all happy users of the board could tell me the ram they are using, it would help me very much. preferably ddr3 1600/1800MHz and 2 x 2gb or 4 x 1gb, but whateva, any would be good to know .

a big thanks in advance to those who take the time out to help me.

The guy didn't say that he is having a problem with the board. I am guessing that he just wants to know what memory others with the same board are using so that he can avoid potential headache. I am not in a position to help since I do not have that board but RMA-ing is not the solution.

LOL, sry didnt read properly. Anyway, I cant imagine such a high-end board being fussy about types of RAM. But if you want to play it safe get 2 x 2GB of low voltage stuff (<1.65v) from good manufactures e.g. Corsair, OZC etc.
