    Everything was bought from Scan apart from the mouse which i got from Ebuyer.

    One thing i want now is a good mouse mat. I want one that will work very well with an optical mouse, and preferrably has a wrist support. Any ideas people?

    A couple of good options are the Func Pad and the RatPad. Both have nice smooth surfaces that is perfect for gaming; quick switch of directions is made easy

    just to say, you're about the millionth person to say you've got a new system

    I've got the RatPad iirc. The hard one, really handy if you need to put it somewhere like on your lap for some odd reason

    Also personally i wouldn't go for that mouse, they're ugly and they don't feel as nice.

    imo the logitech mx500 is a beautiful mouse, i do like my logitech dual optical though.

    you can't beat an intellimouse optical imho,i've got a ratpad and an everglide gigantica,i like them both but the everglide is a bit smoother and doesn't have such a textured surface as the ratpad

    I don't have a mouse matt, i actually use the wooden surface of my desk and i bet my mouse glides better than any mouse matt
