Hmm, Dell warranties are global at least for machines bought on a business account.
I buy a lot of our Dell equipment centrally in the UK to get better pricing and then just have to fill in a warranty transfer form when the equipment is physically at the final destination.
Depending on which tech support agent you talk to at Dell you can even get around that - last time I was in Sweden the screen on my laptop decided to die so I called Dell Sweden and they sent an engineer out in about 3 hours to replace the panel.
