    New i7 920 rig suggestion

I am planning to upgrade my q6600 rig to i7 920 rig.

I have some questions that I hope someone could help.

Which mobo is best for Ocing and have an esata? I was thinking of P6T deluxe V1
But i am really thinking not to spend too much on mobo. I heard about the feature of 'asus gate' which allow you skype and use internet without loading windows.. is it for real? it is quick? I often frustrated of loading windows just to surf net. ( situations like I need urgent internet info while trying to catch a bus/train)

I also saw the ram on ebuyer. they have a OCZ 2000mhz platinum for £74 and a 1600mhz OCZ reaper series for £64? I like Overclock but i like fast computer more.. I presume the reaper series will never reach 2000mhz. am i right that i should go for the platinum for the sake of extra £10 but sacrificing the joy of overclocking ram.

To be honest I have to see any difference in performance worth justifying spending any extra monies over 1.6 GHz when it comes to RAM.

Also wonder whether a 775 socket heat sink bracket would work on the i7 board. This may sound silly but i thought the bracket is in x shape and i don't seem to find any water cool i7 bracket anywhere

Re: New i7 920 rig suggestion

Some motherboards are made with the 775 bracket holes so you can put your old cooler on your new 17 rig, i think the Foxconn Flaming blade and bloodrage have such holes aswell as the ASUS P6T. but check reviews first!.
